TREATING ME AS UNTOUCHABLE
by Billy Chung 鍾健華 / RMIT MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM
I scrutinize inner feelings of psychological discomfort, alienation, empathy, love, comfort and regard through cat drawings on tissue paper and figurative painting. I am dealing with my relationship to the world: dislocation with the community, social relationships, complexity of human emotion and loss. Animals and humans interacting with each other and how this observed relationship may provide a companionship for the loneliness of the human or vice versa will be explored in the drawings.
